Michael J. (Mike) Hoke, president of Abaris Training Resources, Inc. (Reno, NV) will be at AirVenture in Oshkosh, WI July 22-28, 209 to attend the event and on Friday morning, July 26th, he will give a presentation titled “Recent Composite Repair Concerns” from 10:00-11:15 am on Stage 5 in the Forum Plaza.
This presentation will discuss composite repair concerns, and some methods of addressing them. Abaris Training has seen many repair failures, and the reasons for those failures, over the years. Some of the most common causes of problems will be discussed. Also, newer FAA advisories concerning HEWABI (High-Energy Wide Area Blunt Impact) and BRSL (Bonded Repair Size Limits) will be addressed.
